Well done to everyone one who organised the event and the volunteers on the day who made it all possible.

We have done this event twice per year since 2014 but today is the first time I have come away thinking we might not come to the next one. By TS3, things were running half an hour being schedule which is a long time to be standing around in the cold. Also, the event itself is very short compared to British Triathlon events for this age group. The first run of 800m is hardly worth the transition. We consider this event to be local to us compared to some of the others we travel to but we left our house at 10:15 this morning and arrived home at 2:35. I just think this is a big chunk of our weekend for a relatively short event. I still think it's a good entry level event for our club's less experienced athletes but it's not enough of a challenge for our experienced members.

Any chance of starting additional age groups while current age groups are racing so they can finish closer together?

As always, very bike heavy course with very short running legs.

Friendly and encouraging marshals, well organised. Didn't feel out of depth even though first time attempting a duathlon-was suitable for all levels of ability. Will be back in the spring, thank you.
