Great event , especially for the young beginners

I really enjoyed it! It was fun doing the swim, cycling and run. I liked it when the lion gave the medals. I look forward to doing another triathlon.

It is a well organised event, with encouraging marshalls giving you support around the couse. It is also great value, and you get a good quality medal at the finish. Highly recommended!!
Friendly, Cheerful, Lovely Marshall good event for beginners
I am little confused. I have compared three discipline time from last year. All improved from last year but total time is 20 seconds slower.
Event is great, lovely Marshall and very local, I really appreciate.
Unfortunately, cycling on Grass (maybe running on Grass as well) is not ideal for me as I likely inhale something and after the event I had irritated throat and uncomfortable chest. (still experiencing chest pain on day two)

Fun event with positive friendly atmosphere
Unfortunately quite a few riders (including the leaders) were making short cuts on the cycle section. An extra Marshall or two from the outset would be a good idea near the transition area to make sure it is fair for all. Even the Marshall cyclist with the leading boy in 11-14 group was making a short cut!!
Nice event however clearer divisions between competitors and spectators needed.

Some Marshall between bike and run not directing so lots of confusion.
Needs to be a clearer division (taped walk ways) between competitors and spectator. Particularly for the kids.

This was my first triathlon. The race marshalls were very supportive and professional. It was a brilliant experience and I am definitely signing up for the 2018 one. Highly recommend!!
Really enjoyable day with helpful marshalls
Would be good if they were timed. this would motivate the younger ones in the age bracket. I.e. My son is 10 but will be 11 in November so was against many bigger children, however, he still enjoyed it. Thankyou
Volunteers were magnificent and signage was clear
We travelled a fair distance and had a vey early start to the day but the event and the occasion made for a more than worthwhile trip .
